Driver Licensing Access Program
Obtaining a driver’s licence is an important milestone that can provide greater independence and access to employment, education, essential services and community opportunities. Our Driver Licensing Access Program (DLAP) supports refugees, migrants and community members who may face barriers throughout the NSW driver licensing process.
Delivered by Uniting Circle in partnership with Youthsafe, the program provides practical guidance and personalised support to help participants understand licensing requirements, prepare for their Driver Knowledge Test (DKT), navigate Service NSW processes and confidently progress towards obtaining their driver’s licence.
The program also promotes road safety, greater confidence and informed decision-making, helping participants develop the knowledge and skills needed to become safer and more confident drivers.
