Our History
Uniting Circle Multicultural Community Centre was established to meet the growing needs of culturally and linguistically diverse communities across Western Sydney. Founded by CEO Mujgan Tahery, the organisation was built on a vision of creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where individuals and families could access support, build meaningful connections and develop a strong sense of belonging.
From its early beginnings, Uniting Circle focused on supporting refugees, new arrivals, women and families through practical assistance, community programs and opportunities that foster inclusion and empowerment. As community needs evolved, the organisation expanded its services to include personalised NDIS support, Supported Independent Living (SIL), settlement assistance, education and skills development, counselling, community wellbeing initiatives and a wide range of multicultural programs.
Today, Uniting Circle is a trusted Australian not-for-profit organisation and registered NDIS provider, committed to empowering people of all backgrounds through compassionate, person-centred services. By celebrating diversity, building strong partnerships and creating opportunities for participation and growth, we continue to strengthen communities and make a lasting positive impact across Western Sydney.
Our Commitment
At Uniting Circle Multicultural Community Centre, we are committed to delivering compassionate, inclusive and person-centred services that place people at the centre of everything we do.
We believe every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and cultural understanding. Our commitment is to provide high-quality support that empowers people to build confidence, strengthen independence and achieve their goals in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
Through collaboration, integrity and genuine care, we strive to build stronger communities where everyone has the opportunity to connect, participate and thrive.
