The UC Homework Club provides weekly homework support and peer mentoring for young migrants and refugees who may face educational challenges due to language barriers, disrupted schooling or limited support. Local high school students volunteer as peer mentors, helping participants with their studies while building confidence, positive relationships and connections within the community.
Impact
Supporting young people to build confidence in their learning, strengthen English and study skills, develop positive peer connections and feel more engaged and supported in their education.
